McLean’s waterfront lots reward a builder who knows the lake: dock permitting through Duke Energy’s lake services, shoreline buffer requirements, and the orientation decisions that make a view work in every season. We have made those decisions on more than 100 waterfront homes around Lake Wylie. McLean crosses the state line: Belmont, North Carolina on one side and Clover, South Carolina on the other, and permitting, inspections and contractor licensing differ between the two. McSpadden Homes holds an unlimited general contractor license in both North and South Carolina, so which side of the line your lot sits on changes our permits, not whether we can build for you.

Every plan goes through McLean’s architectural review, and every project goes through our Project Development process, which gives you an itemized budget before construction begins. Our homes typically run from $1.5 million to $5 million.
